Residents of Kirby Pines pay a one-time entrance fee and an ongoing monthly maintenance fee which varies based on the type of residence, number of occupants, type of agreement, and refund plan selected. What does the monthly fee cover at Kirby Pines?

The monthly fee covers several utilities including water, electricity, heating, air conditioning, basic cable, sewer, trash pickup, and snow removal. It also covers services such as maintenance, housekeeping, transportation, and more.

Do I have to leave Kirby Pines if I require a higher level of care in the future?

Residents do not have to leave Kirby Pines should they require additional types of care in the future. As a LifeCare community, Kirby Pines provides seamless access to advanced care right here on our campus. Our caring staff, counsel, and residents are all a part of the decision-making process when it comes time to move onto the next phase of living.

Does Kirby Pines allow pets?

Yes, Kirby Pines is a pet-friendly senior living community! Please contact our team today to learn more about our pet policy.

How much maintenance is my responsibility?

You maintain only what you bring with you or install yourself, and even then often there will be help available. Kirby Pines maintains the appliances that come with your residence, the inside and outside structures, carpeting, heating and air conditioning, and landscaping. We also provide removal of trash and snow.

Do I need to carry homeowner's insurance?

No. However, you will need renter’s insurance to cover your possessions.
