A note from the family of Bob Martin

Below is the transcription of the hand-written note.

My father, Bobby J. Martin, passed away last Wednesday. He lived in the Fireside Villa since last February, and was in independent living for about a year before that. Kirby Pines has been an absolute Godsend for our family. Daddy liked living there and enjoyed the social aspects of Kirby Pines. While in the independent living estates, he wore his cowboy hat a lot – some people called him “Cowboy” or “Texas” and he loved it.

The facility at the Fireside Villa gave our family much comfort due to the attention he received from the wonderful staff at The Villa. The ladies there are top notch. They do an excellent job for the residents, and you can tell they get attached to some of them – they really cared for my dad. Their friendships were a blessing to my dad. Thank you again for having such a fantastic facility for retirees. Kirby Pines has been a blessing for your family.
